Emma and Luke’s wedding at The George Vaults in Rochester was an unforgettable celebration, set against the stunning backdrop of this historic space.
The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, with family and friends gathered to witness Emma and Luke say their vows. After the “I dos,” guests enjoyed a relaxed drinks reception in the courtyard at the back of The George Vaults. The sun cast a golden glow over the gathering, making for the perfect setting to enjoy canapés and toast the newlyweds. The relaxed atmosphere was a dream to capture, even with a tiny sprinkling of rain, with candid moments of guests laughing, chatting, and celebrating the happy couple.
For their couple’s portraits, we took a stroll through Rochester’s charming High Street, using its historic buildings and characterful streets as a stunning backdrop. The light was perfect, adding a soft, romantic feel to the images. We then made our way to Rochester Castle grounds, where the ancient stone walls and lush greenery provided a timeless setting for some breathtaking portraits of Emma and Luke together.
As the evening approached, guests made their way down into the atmospheric Vaults for the wedding breakfast. The exposed brick walls and candlelit setting created an intimate and cosy ambience, making for a truly magical dining experience. Laughter and heartfelt speeches filled the room, creating memories that Emma and Luke will cherish forever.
